Our Community Programs
Sustainable Art Workshop Series
(We have filled our workshop calendar through Sept 2022 and are not currently taking new application. Email danielle@studiobythetracks.org is you have any questions!)

Thanks to generous support through grant funding from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts, we are excited to roll out this new program.

Our Sustainable Arts Workshop Series features local and regional artists working in the field of sustainability. If you are working with discarded or upcycled materials, inspiring social awareness around environmentalism, foraging botanical or other biological mediums in your artmaking process—we’d love for you to lead us in a small group art activity outside in our Studio Dye Garden!

We are able to offer $150 to each workshop instructor, with an additional $150 to cover materials and supplies, and our staff is available to assist you during the workshop as needed.

Fill out the form below if you are interested in becoming a teaching artist in our workshop series, and our staff will contact you with further details.
